Hi, I'm Dan Reinecke with Unknown Media, and today I'm going to show you how to restore a photo with a blurred face. Now this isn't going to work with every photo because some photos will just be too blurry to ever fix, but if you have a slight blur there are some sharpening techniques that you can use to help fix your issues. Smaller sized images will also be a lot easier to work with than large ones so you may need to scale down your image in the end. So let's jump into our photo editing software and get started. So this is the photo we're going to use to make the photo appear more in focus with a blurred face. Now what you want to start off with is go ahead and go into your layers and duplicate the background. Now, what you're going to do with this now you're going to go ahead and go into filter, other, high pass. Now what the high pass filter is going to do it's going to grab onto the pixels and sharpen your image for you. I'm going to use about a radius of five and select okay. Now obviously we don't want it to be gray so what we're going to go ahead and do is go into our blending options and select overlay. So now as you can see the image is a lot sharper, a lot crisper. I'll go ahead and toggle on the before and after. So as you can see, everything comes into a lot crisper focus. And that's how you can restore a photo with a blurred face. I'm Dan Reinecke, take your best shot.
