Hi, I'm Dan Reinecke with Unknown Media, and today I'm going to give you a little insight on lens vignetting. When you see a photo and the edges are either darkened or blurred, this is known as a vignette. I'd be comfortable in saying that over 90 percent of the time when you see this effect, it is actually done in post-production. If you go out and spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on cameras and lenses and you are seeing a vignette in your photos, there's something terribly wrong. From a manufacturing standpoint, a vignette is actually an error in the way the product was made. With an old lens like this here, it would be much more likely to find natural vignettes because of the wear and tear over the years of use. Otherwise, if you want to see a vignette in your photos, the easiest way to achieve that will be through post-production. I'm Dan Reinecke, take your best shot.
