Hi, my name is Dan Reinecke with Unknown Media, and today I'm gonna share a few ideas for magazine photo shoots. Now when it comes to shoots for a magazine of course the number one thing to keep in mind is going to be what magazine the shoot will be published in. A photo shoot for a car inspired magazine is going to be much different than a magazine catering to doctors. So you'll need to be aware of your audience before going into the shoot. Take something like sunglasses for instance. If you're setting up a shoot to highlight sunglasses you're going to want to do just that. You can show a model wearing the glasses but be sure to remember that the glasses themselves are the main focus. Don't let anything in the shot take away from those glasses. Now if you're simply shooting a portrait you're going to want to choose a very nice looking portrait that will show off your work in the best possible way. Again, the key to shooting for magazines is going to be to stay aware of the magazines demographic. I'm Dan Reinecke, take your best shot.
