Hi. I'm Dan Reinecke with Unknown Media. Today I'm going to talk to you about the advantages of a digital SLR over a smaller digital camera. Now of course when you get a digital SLR it's going to cost you quite a bit more money than the smaller digital cameras. What you're going to be paying for is, well the sensor. The sensor is actually going to give you, simply put, a larger image and a better image quality than possibly those smaller digital cameras. But the number one most important thing that digital SLRs are going to give you over smaller digital cameras is going to be the control. Now I have a camera here from 1972. And this camera is actually going to have a lot more control with it than some of these smaller digital cameras out there today. Now a digital SLR is going to allow you to adjust your ISO. It's going to allow you to adjust your aperture and it's going to allow you to adjust your shutter speed. And you can do it all yourself manually. These smaller digital cameras, what they're going to do is maybe allow you to shoot in a portrait mode or a landscape mode. Now what these are actually going to do more is going to change the contrast and the saturation and the color tone. But it's not actually going to give you ultimate control over your image. A digital SLR is going to give you the ultimate control. What it's going to do, it's going to allow you to manually adjust your aperture and pick whatever shutter speed you want and even adjust the ISO. And what that's actually going to do is give you the best image quality that you can possibly, possibly achieve with your own talents. I'm Dan Reineke, take your best shot.
