I'm Emily Loftiss, I'm a former Radio City Rockette and a professional dancer here in New York City. The question is: What is narrative dance? Narrative dance is related to many origins of dance. Liturgical, lyrical and ballet. Basically we are explaining to the audience what is happening in the story. So let me give you a couple of examples that you would maybe see in a ballet. So if I am the maiden. I am scared, I'm scared. I need help. Who can find help. And then here comes the prince. I'm here. I will slay the dragon for you. Oh thank you. Thank you. And can you please find my child? And that is the story, happy ever ending. I hope this is helpful for you.
