Hi, this is Lori Wyman with Lori Wyman Casting, and today we're going to talk about how to be an A list star actor. Well gosh, how do you become an A list star actor? You have to start where everybody else starts, at the bottom. Nobody starts at the top. I'm just going to talk about a couple of the projects that I've done over the years. I did a little movie many years ago called "Blood and Wine" starring a then relatively unknown actress by the name of Jennifer Lopez. Well Jennifer Lopez started somewhere. She was a lovely girl in a small budget movie and the next thing I know there she is, Jennifer Lopez. Another person that I worked with many years ago on a little television show called "Miami Vice" was a then very unknown actress by the name is Julia Roberts. Now, nobody knew who Julie Roberts was and she came into my office and she signed her contract, and she was very quiet and she was very sweet and very shy. Did I know that several years later this girl was going to become Julia Roberts? Do you remember when Tom Hanks won one of his Oscars? Who did he thank? He thanked his high school drama teacher. Everybody starts in the same place. They start in acting schools. They start in smaller budget projects. They even start working as an extra often times. So in order to be an A list working actor, you've got to start on the bottom and work your way up. This is Lori Wyman with Lori Wyman Casting, and today we're talking about how to become an A list working actor.
