Hi, my name is Erik and I'm going to show you how to draw the gradient curve of a function. Okay, let's start out by drawing our X and Y axis, there we go, bring this down vertically. The X axis is the horizontal one and the Y is the vertical. Okay now for this equation it's Y=X squared so if X is 3, Y would be 3 squared which is 9, add the middle point here and to draw the curve bring this down to 0, match it on this side, bring it up and have this going. Alright, and that is how you draw the gradient curve of a function.
