Hey guys, it's Chris here and today I'm going to show you how to draw your own ship with sails. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to start right about here and kind of bring a swooping line back. You want to have the swoop kind of look like almost like a, it's a little more angled at the, at the front of the ship here. I'm going to bring a line down just like that and then I'm going to bring another line along the side that's not quite the same angle as that, but I'm going to bring it back and I'm make sure that this front line is a little bit longer than the one in the back, because from the perspective we're looking at we're going to be looking at it from almost like the up, an upper perspective and side of the boat. I'm going to do a connection, connecting line like that and then bring a line back down just like that. If you want to do the planks you can do that as well and just kind of follow these lines along. Just draw a couple of those. And then I'm going to do the mast. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to take my, my orange marker and just kind of do a line going down like that and I'm not going to reach it all the way to the bottom because the bottom of the sailboat is probably about here. And this is just a simple sailboat. You can kind of make it as complex as you want. If you want to do something on the front you can do that. Maybe there's a some of kind of ornamentated object, like they usually have those ladies that are kind of statues coming off the front. Maybe I will do just a little bronze kind of swoop here that maybe comes down. Almost looks like a little wave kind of coming off the front. And then what I'm do is I'm going to take my white marker and going to draw the sails and what you're going to want to do is kind of just do a very swooping line like that and then bring it back in. And it doesn't connect to the, to the mast so what you're going to do is you're going to bring this back up and kind of connect it there. Gonna do a little hole there and a little hole there and then on the other side you're going to do the same thing but maybe this one is going a little bit behind the mast and connect it there. Maybe bring it in like that and connect it there. Couple little holes there. Now obviously this part is going to be behind the sail now so what we're going to have to do is we're going to have to erase this area and will bring out the dimension there of that. Same thing here. Redraw my circle. And then if you want, bring another line up here. Little circle up there and this is where the connectors are. Connect that to the bottom here. Same thing here. Same here and same here. Bottom of the ship. If you want you can just fill it in. Just kind of go like that. And, make it a little bit more of a top there to the mast. And then maybe there's some waves. So you bring these up on the side and you can make your waves kind of however you want. I like to make 'em very swirly. And there you go guys. That is how you draw a sailboat. So good luck and stay creative.
