Hi, my name is Sami Rudnick and I am from Rok On Studios and today we're going to learn how to sing with a scratchy throat. Now one of the best techniques is to drink water with lemon and honey. The reason we do this is because the lemon and honey is very soothing to the vocal cords and makes it much easier to sing. Another thing you can do is to elongate your vowels by raising your eyebrows and your forehead when you sing. For example, every time you're about to hit a high note, you can raise your eyebrows and it takes some of the pressure off of the vocal cords. For example, Hallelujah. The third and final technique is to find a way to relax your vocal cords. One technique is by humming, mmmm, mmmm. What that does is help to relax your vocal cords and take some of the strain off of an already scratchy throat. I'm Sami Rudnick and you've learned how to sing with a scratchy throat. Thanks for watching.
