Hi, this is Cliff Wallach Greenberg, I'm a music producer here at Rok On Studios and today we're going to learn how to figure out the timing in music. What we're going to do is we're going to figure out first our song, is it in duple meter or is it in triple meter. For example, a duple meter would be a very straight feel, our duple feel gives us a very straight and even feeling to the music. Our song could also be in triple meter, for example, so our song is in a triple feel which gave us a:1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3. As you can see that feeling gives you sort of a swaying motion where our duple meter gives more of a straight feel. This is Cliff Wallach Greenberg with Rok On Studio, that's how you figure out timing in music, thanks very much for watching.
