Hi, my name is Cliff Wallach Greenberg, I'm a music producer here at Rok On Studios and today we're going to talk about how to select instruments for electronic music. So one of the most important instruments I believe to check for electronic music would be the drums. So lets go to the computer and I'll show you how to find software that we can use to put drums into our electronic music. Okay, so we are using our software which is called Reason and we're going to be adding instruments into our song bank. So we're going to go to our create button and we're going to create what is called a loop player, Doctor X, one of the best. We have our loop player, next we're going to add what is called a combinator and within our combinator we are going to come over to our sound bank combinator patches, lets say we're going to add in an organ. Okay, now we have our organ, we have our drums and lets create one more instrument, we're going to use our NN19 digital sampler and for that is going to give us some really funky and weird sounds and synths and patches that we can use to add in with our other music as you can see our track list is getting pretty big with different effects and different sounds. This has been Cliff Wallach Greenberg and you've just learned how to select instruments for electronic music, thanks for watching.
