Hi, this is Cliff Wallach Greenberg, I'm a music producer here at Rok On Studio and today we're going to learn how to add reverb onto music files. What reverb does is creates ambiance and a little lush and fullness within to your track so lets go to a computer and I'll show you how to do it. As you can see we are in Pro Tools and I'm going to be adding reverb to the 12 string acoustic guitar track which is this track here in green. I'm going to go to my inserts on this track, plug-in reverb and I'm going to use what's called the Reverb plug-in. As you can see there are many different things in this screen that you can alter the sound with, very first one is the reverb type, we have hull reverbs, we have room, chamber, church and every one will give you a different ambient sound. So we're going to stick with our hall reverb and we're going to bring our wet and dry mix amount down and we're going to start the song and I'm going to add more reverb as you can see it's sort of sounding bigger and wetter, now I'm going to bypass the reverb and you can here the sound is very dry, one more time back on, as you can see very wet reverb. This has been Cliff Wallach Greenberg and that's how you add reverb to music files, thanks for watching.
