Hi, I'm Rosalie and I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a rose cutting through a heart. So I'm going to start with the heart. It's just a shape like this, two bumps and then it comes around and it's a point and I'm going to stop there though because I'm going to put the rose in around the action of the rose and so the rose is cutting through the heart and so I'm doing like a mini jagged line. I wonder if it would show better this way, sort of coming this way. There's the, it's like this, it's cutting through so that's the area that's being cut through. And then I'm going to draw, here comes the rose, it's coming through there and it's like, I draw sort of a spiral like that for the center and then I start to add petals all the way around. So there's the rose, the blossom of the rose and here's the little calyx part of the rose and I'm going to put some thorns. This rose is cutting through something so it would have probably have some pretty substantial thorns and since it's cutting through I'm going to just continue it through the other side and let's put a leaf on. I don't think you would actually ever see this happen but it's an interesting idea and you would have another leaf there, put a couple more thorns and then I'm just going to draw the heart closed around this and you could even sort of emphasize where it's being cut and then wrap it around there. So, that's how I draw a rose cutting through a heart.
