Hi, I'm Rosalie and I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw cartoon hair that looks real. So I guess I'm going to start by drawing like a cartoon face, that's going to be the cartoon part so I'm just drawing a big circle, well a round shape and put like a big smile and like two dots for eyes. that's the cartoon face and then this cartoon face is going to have some realistic hair like the outline is going to be cartoony but then the hair texture is going to be realistic and so I'm just doing the old million lines to suggest the hair and sort of fading it. It's, I'm like lifting the pen up a little bit, when I get to where I want to lift it all the way off so that it gets lighter and it gets darker like at the part. And then the way you make hair look realistic in a drawing is you just put detail in with lines and shading and you sort of draw the strands and you make directional lines with the way the hair is supposed to be flowing and sitting. So I'm going to put a strand down like that, make it realistic a little bit might get loose. And that's how I draw cartoon hair that looks real.
