Hi, I'm Rosalie and I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw a girl's hair realistically. So, I'm going to draw the girls' head in first to put the hair on, just making an oval and there's an eyebrow and an eye, and an eyebrow and an eye. The face isn't so realistic but the hair, we're going to go for making realistic hair and so she has bangs and let's say she's got braids, so I draw the braids like that. You see they're like two intertwined lines and there's the end of the hair and I think she's got an ear in there somewhere in there too. And then here she has the other braid which is again the same thing you see, it kind of looks like a hollow bread loaf if you've ever seen one of those and there's the end of it and to make it look realistic you just have to shade in the hair texture a little bit with lines like what I'm doing. I'm making a bunch of lines that indicate the individual hair strands as they're grouped together and then I leave a space to show a highlight because hair is shiny and then I'm going to do the same on these braids just shading in a little bit of hair texture all the way down the braids. You could get as detailed as you want with this, you know, and then I just put some hair texture in the ends there and sort of fluff them out a little and so, I'm going to get this side a little bit and you could have a few fly aways for realism too and there's her neck and that's how I draw a girl's hair realistically.
