Hi, my name is Patricia, I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw, step-by-step, a portrait. Alright, so, this is going to be a portrait that you hang on the wall, so let's do a rectangle, and you can make it, you know, a really fancy frame if you'd like, this is going to be simple, and then we have the portrait. Now, when you do your portrait, you're going to do the head, and it's an oval shape, and then the eyes, you don't have to draw the lines if you don't want to, but the eyes go right in the center of the face, and there is the distance of one eye in between the two eyes. So if somebody has very wide eyes, it's going to be a wide distance, if they have smaller, kind of more buggy eyes, it's going to be a shorter distance. Then we have the nose, and then the mouth, you can add lips for the mouth, and then here for the eyes, we're going to add the eyeballs, and then the eyelid, possibly some eyelashes, some brows, and the ears go from the eye to the bottom of the nose, something like this. And here I'm going to erase this line, I'm going to keep it in the eye just because it's difficult to erase, and then the hair, and you draw the hair on, they can have bangs or not, and then of course the neck, and then the arms, maybe she has, you know, strapless dress, her favorite necklace. And there is, you know you can do her arms crossed over her lap, whatever you want. And there is a portrait step-by-step. Enjoy.
