Hi. My name's Erik. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a realistic poison oak. OK. Let's start by drawing the stem coming up here. And then there's usually any number of leaves, but let's draw three leaves coming out of this particular stem. It comes out kind of like a paddle on this one. Coming out this way, again kind of like a paddle. And this one, also kind of like a paddle. And the end of it kind of tapers like such on each of these. Now, let's draw, the stem actually extends through out the leaf there, extend not to the very end though. It extends there. Now, add some of the leaf veins, going out in each direction on each of these, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. And the same here, one, two, three, four, one, two, three, four. And there's usually at the bottom of these poison oaks, just bunches of these stems that end in little buds. So, let's add that. Now, let's add this, just bunching and little buds here. And just keep adding those to fill it in. It adds dimension to it. One, two, three, one, two. And let's add some more larger leaves, with this end, add the tapering to that. Add a leaf here, like a paddle, with that end also tapering. And bring this up like a piece of over limb. Just going to add some dimension there. And just for some balance, add there, like that. Whoop. Now we got a little sloppy so let's reinforce it a bit. Add that there. And one more group of bunches. Add a leaf there. And that is how you draw a realistic poison oak.
