Hi, my name's Erik, I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw realistic hands. OK, so let's draw the back of a hand here. Start out by drawing, yeah, more or less a square, but bigger on the top than on the bottom. And then let's draw four lines, for the fingers here. And one line over here for where the thumb is. OK, now divide up each one of the fingers, initially, let's see, oops. This one's longer and then it comes back down so these two are about even and then the pinkie's the smallest. The thumb is about the length of a pinkie. OK, now let's divide each one of these, down the middle. Just put a circle there. For each one, in the middle. And then divide that portion there again, with a smaller circle, for the second half. OK, now, let's bring this thumb up, curves and give that there, and this curves around. Now, let's extend these fingers, give that there, just kind of do the outline. Extend this, with an outline. Extend this, do the outline. And extend the last one here, and do the outline. Curve this around. Now let's get rid of some of these guidelines here. And you can draw, some of the wrist coming out too, just to show what it looks like. OK, let's keep erasing these guidelines. Get rid of that there. Get rid, of this here. Get rid of this here. And then erase that. OK. Let's add, just coming down a little bit. The curvature here is a little fatter, comes around, try that. Let's add, some fingernails here on the end. And some knuckles. Get rid of this here, actually the wrist should be a little bit thinner. All right, knuckles in the middle. And here, and then a thumbnail. Let's draw some hair, sure. And that is a step by step guide on how to draw a realistic human hand.
