Hi, my name is Daisy. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw an airplane taking off. So we're going to start with the airplane and the shape is really simple, just a long. It's almost like a teardrop sort of shape but just very long and let's make that nose a little bit more pointed. You can make it a nice rounded nose if you want to make it a little bit more cartoony, but let's try and keep this realistic. So you're going to draw the wings coming off, really simple, wings on this side. This side will be shorter because we're not seeing it as much, a semicircle for an engine, another one and these ones are a bit smaller, a window for the cockpit and if you want to do all the windows for the passenger, I'd just do little semicircles all the way down and last but not least a triangle for the tail. So that's the plane but it does look like it's just flying through the air right now so what we want to do is kind of figure out where it's taking off from and put in all the tarmac underneath so it looks like it's coming up off the ground and then we can even fill in the shadow on the ground. So the shadow can be really simple, draw just the outline and it makes it look a lot more like it's actually leaving the ground. So there we go. My name is Daisy and that's how you draw an airplane taking off.
