Hi, my name is Daisy, I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw simple pictures with shapes. So we're going to do a little boat scene just using really simple shapes. So I'm just going to draw a line across to create the horizon, you can make it a little wavy because we're on the ocean. I'm going to draw a boat sitting on top of the ocean, so this is kind of going to be a trapezoid, let's erase this line, because we don't need to see the ocean through the boat. We're not going to finish off the trapezoid, we're just going to put the waves coming over it, so it looks like it's really sitting in there, more waves around, really simple, you could do little "M's" for the waves. And for the rest of the boat, I'm going to do just a line coming straight up for the mast, and a triangle, it's a little bit loose, for the sail, you could draw our person sitting and enjoying, really simple, just a circle for the head, let's make him just a nice little stick figure, his arms and hand resting on the side. And then we can go draw the sun, because he's going to be getting some rays, just a circle, let's fill that in, and then some triangle rays, so everything has been created with a shape that we know, it's nice and simple, except the sun rays is going right off, and a couple of more lines, make it really sunny. And there we go. My name is Daisy, and that's how you draw a simple picture with shapes.
