Hi, my name is Daisy, I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw an emitting beam. I'm going to use a flashlight to show you how to draw the light coming out. So you're going to draw a really simple flashlight. Just the start of a rectangle. It flares out kind of like a semicircle. I want to have a little bit of perspective on this so we're going to draw an oval to see the light coming right out of the flashlight. So let's just color that in to make it nice and simple. So there's our flashlight, and it's pointing down. We need our light coming out. So I'm going to take the yellow marker and just draw two lines coming out at an angle to the ground. Then the same thing as the flashlight, we're going to draw an oval hitting the ground. It kind of replicates the shape from the flashlight. I'm not going to color the whole thing in, I'm actually going to shade it in a little bit so you can see the ways that you can color emitting light. So if you want a full block of light, color the entire thing in, don't worry about this line at the back, just make sure that this is nice and rounded, otherwise you can color it in a little bit and see this line, and then color in this a lighter color. And it makes for a more dimensional drawing. So there we go. My name is Daisy, and that's how you draw an emitting beam.
