Hi, my name is Daisy. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a three dimensional heart. So the difference with drawing a heart in 3D is just making sure you've got the right depth so I'm going to make sure this heart is looking away from us and it just means that this side of the heart is going to be bigger than this side. You still want to make sure that this bit is straight up and down and meets at the right point because that really shows that it's in 3D. To make it look like it's more in 3D, we want to shade it in a little bit. So let's figure out where the sun is coming from or any sort of light and make it go this way so what we want to go is shade all around this edge. So we just keep shading and you can shade with different techniques whether it's a crosshatch, a complete coloring in, anything really works. Just flick out your wrist to get the right texture. I'm going to shade a tiny little bit on this side just so we know that there is more around the corner and to give it even more depth I'm going to draw some white shiny bits and these are just light reflecting off the heart. To go one step further we can cast a shadow from the heart, really simple shapes, very simply it can be a lot more abstract, longer, shorter, however big you want the shadow to be. And there we go, my name is Daisy and that's how you draw a three dimensional heart.
