Hi, my name is Daisy, and I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw a pencil in 3D. So you're going to do the basic outline of the pencil, starting with two long lines like so. I'm drawing mine at an angle, so it kind of looks like it's being used to be writing with. Triangle at the bottom. And then extend a little bit for the eraser. Now already we're looking at the 3D shapes. So the eraser is round at the top. Don't make that flat. And the little metal casing for the eraser is going to be rounded as well to keep all those 3D shapes round. We've got a couple lines coming down, because you know a pencil is kind of a funny shape. So to make it really 3D, we're going to color in a couple of these planes and really shade it in. So it looks like it goes all the way around. Round off the tip of where the graphite is. Shade this part in too. Then if you really want to go crazy and make them look really 3D, we can cast a shadow. Which is just a couple lines coming out. Like so. And there we go. My name is Daisy, and that's how you draw a pencil in 3D.
