Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm an artist. And today we are going to draw music symbols. So there are actually lots and lots of different kinds of music symbols. The first symbol I'm going to draw is called a G clef. So we are going to take this swirl and bring it up making a swirl. When we get to the top of the swirl we are going to bend the line and make a curve and come back down. And then when we come down we are going to curve it again. So it's a very curvy line. Let's see that again. We take a curve, bring it around. When we get to the top we are going to bend it up. Bring it down and curve in the same direction basically that we came in. In the same, the same motion. One more time. Curve it around, bring it up. Down and around. And that there is a G clef. So there's some other music symbols. This here is a pound, it looks like a pound sign as we know it. But in the music world it means a sharp. So it means if a note like for example a C you know a C sharp. It might also be referred to as a like a flat, another a flat of another note. So for example this would be the flat symbol. The flat symbol looks like a b just like that, b. So that is not to be confused with the other musical note which is like this. Some of these musical notes are colored in. Some of them are empty and they all have different meanings. If it's colored in, if it's empty, if it has a little flag on the back. Sometimes they don't have a flag at all. They all have different meanings. All mean different things. Sometimes they are connected, there are two of them. They'll come down like that. Or sometimes they're just all by their lonesome like so. And then sometimes you'll see them on a music sheet like this. So there might be like a G clef here. And then there might be some various notes on your music sheet. And that's how you draw a hole bunch of different music symbols.
