Hello, my name is Ray. I'm an artist and right now I'm going to show you how to draw a 2D horse. Now a horse like any quadruped is made up of basically cylinders, a bunch of cylinders together. Now starting with the head, we're just going to draw the head and like it's a basic tilted cylinder shape. And you want to add details like ears so you know that you're drawing a horse. Now as you illustrate the rest of the body you'll see that all that is is basically another large cylinder like so. That's what the body is made of. Now for the legs of the horse, once again we're talking a bunch of smaller cylinders, drawing this from the side. Now you also want to remember a horse has hooves, not feet so at the bottom just break and put some hooves instead of feet, a straight line, a break then hooves. And on the back leg same thing, one cylinder, break it, draw the hooves, one cylinder, break, draw the hooves. Now what you have here is the general shape of a horse but you want it to look a little more like a horse, like a little cartoony horse so you draw, you draw, give it a tail, a nice tail and you want to draw other details like you want to finish up the head so you want to draw one of these. You get the front, you want to draw the mouth, do the eyes, or the eye in this case since it's from the side and what you have here is the general illustration of the horse. Now you want to add a little bit more to it like you maybe want to put a mane on him or something to just better show that this is an actual horse. So there you have it, that is the general illustration of a 2 dimensional horse.
