Hello, my name is Ray and right now I'm going to show you how to illustrate swirly designed. Now a swirly design is very simple and there are very different types of swirly designs. I'm going to show you a real basic one right here. What you want to do just to get the areas, you want to start with a circle maybe, that's how I'll start in a second. Start with a general circle. Now swirly design is basically a type of abstract design where everything kind of circles back into one vanishing point. So for swirlies what we'd do is we'd start at the vanishing point and then work our way around. For example, this is kind of like what you consider a circular maze. You keep on doing it until the line meets itself from your original vanishing point. So this is an example of that. We have the circle, we spin, we spin, all the way until we reach the corners of the original circle and this creates one general design. Now another thing you can do also utilizing the same thing is you can like sometimes you can start from the outside and go in. It's the same effect and it's the same design it's just going backwards. And you'll find what you are going to do is come to the same vanishing point. Now there are several examples of what a swirly design can be. These are just two general examples of circle swirly designs. The ying and the yang symbol is an example of a swirly design and things of that nature. So that's a general idea of how you would draw the swirly design. That's an example of how to draw basic swirly designs.
