Hi, I'm Al Krakosky and I'm an artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to draw the Heptane molecule. It's made up of seven carbon atoms and sixteen hydrogen atoms. So start off with the carbon. You're going to draw circles and color those in, draw a line up and circle for two, a line down for three and just follow that, again, four, five, six, and seven. The first and last carbon atom are going to have three hydrogens attached, the rest are going to only have two. So you're going to draw a line in the smaller circle for the hydrogen and then two down here, same thing on the end over here, a line up, small circle, two smaller lines, two smaller circles. Then on top the top carbon atoms are going to have the hydrogen atoms on the top sticking out the same way you did the other ones, only this time two and these ones are going to be on the bottom and that's it. That is how you draw the heptane molecule. Thank you for watching and keep on drawing.
