Hi, I'm Al Krakosky, and I'm an artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to draw a basketball backboard on paper. We're going to start up at the top. Do a nice, curved line from one side to the other, a nice half-circle. Can start off with a light pencil, and outline it once you have it the way you want it. And, once we have this, we'll do some small vertical lines on both sides, and then diagonal lines leading to the center, on both sides. And, this is the backboard. Once we have this shape, we're going to go in the inside and draw a square. And, on the inside of that, another square. Once you have that, you can shade that in. Next step, you're going to draw an oval for the rim of the basket. Nice, thick oval. And then, we'll go on to the actual net. We'll draw a curved line down on this side, one on this side. And then, diagonal lines curving across one way, and the other way - create the actual net. Go back in, and add some detail. Add some color if you'd like. And then, you're done. And, that's it. That is how you draw a basketball backboard on paper. Thank you for watching, and keep on drawing.
