Hi, my name is Eric. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw abstract art using shapes. Okay let's just start with kind of a canvas or a square border here, a rectangle border and let's start with some shapes. Let's do some circles here, just working together and start out just kind of building up some patterns, keeping them abstract and then let's do a square shape down here. Just keep building it up and let's do a triangle here working its way out, another triangle, and then let's let these other shapes overlap it. And then let's fill this in with some green, fill it in here with some green. This is green and then I want to do the same over here, down here, fill this in and then this one and let's fill in this up here and this here, fill this in. Then I want to do another circle, actually more of an oval here and then let's do another oval here. Let's fill this in with green. I'm just keeping it more of a pattern, more abstract. You don't have to draw any particular form just as long as you fill in the canvas, let's add this one here just so that there's another green border there. Now let's just add some green lines in the background, just a general pattern, fill it in, more pattern here and I do actually want to do just some lines right here and some crosshatching here and here. And that is how you draw abstract art using shapes.
