Hi, my name is Erik, I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a house for children. Okay let's just start with a baseline here. Let's go and draw a rectangular house, a two story one. Let's add the roof here and let's bring this out a bit, bring it up here to the top, bring it down. Okay, and then let's add some texture to that roof for the shingles, just keep going across with horizontal lines here. We're going to fill that more in a bit. Let's add a front door in the middle here, straighten out that line, add a frame to that, a doorknob. Let's do a window here, add the frame around it, add that in there. Now let's add, let's add four windows total, with a frame there, bring this window up here, frame there. Have another one over here and there and across and then let's add, let's clear out some of this portion here. Let's add a circular window up here, that there, let's add three little windows as part of the door, give it some grass, add a chimney, bring the lines across for the chimney, patterning it like bricks and let's add some pattern to the shingles, just kind of alternate them as you go, just keep going across. Let's put this one here, put this in the middle, make it look more complex, put that there, put some edges to the house. And that is how you draw a house for children.
