Hi, I'm Al Krakosky and I'm an artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to draw fur on a long haired cat. We're going to start off by drawing his face and then add the hair around it. So we're going to draw his eyes. They've got the big slanted eyes and on the inside, go a little darker and then right underneath is the nose. I'm going to draw his mouth in a little bit, a line down, curve across. I'm going to start adding the fur, on the head, the top of the head a little bit and then add the ears, curve up and then down like a curved triangle. Then for the actual, the actual fur the long hair we're going to do kind of like grass almost. It's going to be like this type of shape almost all going in the same direction and then some random ones going in the opposite directions. So we'll start with the face then we'll do that all the way down, following the shape of the face, same thing on this side. Then we'll go down to the body and have it go out and then come in, continuing doing these they're almost like curvy triangles. We'll come down here and do the front legs. We'll put a few lines in there for the toes and curve up, same thing on this side and then for the back just curve down here, adding that long hair, a little bit on this side. We'll add a tail, curving up. We'll go back in here and add some whiskers, quick lines. If you're using a pencil I would suggest using a lighter pencil for that. We'll add some hair, some fur above the eyes and just go back in and add some of these quick curved lines like that kind of jagged at one point in random spots to give more of that fur texture and that's all you really need to know. Your cat may look different. This one is a little bit of a bigger cat but just continue doing this long fur, these type of lines throughout to give that long fur, long hair look on your cat and that's it. Just have fun with it. Thank you for watching and keep on drawing.
