Hi, I'm Rosalie and I'm and artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw a self-portrait without a mirror. So if you are not going to use a mirror to do a self-portrait, you can try to remember what you look like, you know, you see yourself enough so you might have a pretty good grasp on what you look like just naturally or you could look at a photograph of yourself and draw from that. Like I know my face is sort of this shape, and I know I have eyebrows, and they're basically like that, I'm going to draw my own eyes, I'm just doing the best I can from memory, and I'm going to draw in my nose, let's make it go like that, and I know I have lips, I know they're sort of like this, so put them in like that, and I'm going to do my hair, I know that my hair is kind of like this today, all wild at the bottom sort of, and coming up like this, and I have a pretty large forehead, so I'll just leave it like that, and my eyebrows are like a little wider right there, I really can't remember, and put some eyelashes, and there's my hair. You can really sell a self-portrait or a portrait without, that doesn't have much likeness by doing a good job on the hair, because a persons hairstyle really pretty much defines the way they look a lot of the time, my chin is longer, I know this doesn't look that much like me, but you do the best you can without a mirror, right? Alright, so that's how I would draw a self-portrait without a mirror.
