Hi, I'm Rosalie and I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a confederate soldier. So I'm going to start with his head. A confederate soldier hat is sort of like this. It's got like a slanted down sort of bucket top and the visor is like that. It has like a little thing on it. Here's the guy's head, the soldier. Let's give him a mustache, some eyebrows, some eyes and a nose for the bottom of his mouth there. The collar is kind of like that, like that, like up, a sort of upright collar on this jacket and the jacket would be gray. That was the color of the confederate uniform and there's a belt on this guy with a broad sort of rectangular buckle and bring it out a little bit and then the coat's kind of long like that and the pants are just sort of regular, sort of slim pants. And some shoes on there, okay. And let's say he is holding, making his elbow bent and he is holding with his hand a confederate flag which I just draw. It's sort of waving but I'm just adding it to make it clearer, you know what he's all about and that has an X shape like that. You can just draw an X and trace around it and it has a star in the middle, a five pointed star in the middle and then three in each arm of this X shape and I'm just getting those in there the best I can. So that is how I draw a confederate soldier.
