Hi, I'm Rosalie and I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw sparrows for kids. So, a sparrow is a small bird, you see them around cities a lot, pretty much anywhere. I'm starting with it's back, I'm just doing, it's real simple, so it's easy. And the head is rounded, it's a very compact, little bird. So, the head's rounded, a rounded shape like that. And then, the chest is also rounded, all the way under the body, to the tail. Which slants down, and it's narrow like that, it's just made of feathers. So, you can just draw that feather texture in. So, it has like a rounded body like that, and has a darker marking here, that comes around like that. And the eyes there, and the beak come out like this, like a little, very small tape, sort of tapered triangle. And then, it has another dark area here. And then, the wing is there, there's the end of the wing. And the wing has the feathered texture, and it has some white bands. So, I'm going to leave that, like that, like that, and it comes right up here, sort of like that. So, that's the wing in the back and then, the feet come out like this, right from the center of the body. And they're sort of angled forward, there's the other one, I'm going to put in the thigh there. And then, they have some front toes and a back toe, and the other foot is the same way. And you can sort of darken in some of the, put the eye a little darker. And then, emphasize some of the areas. And color in the beak, maybe. And that's how I draw sparrows for kids.
