Hi, my name is Daisy, I'm a artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a cartoon footballer. So we're going to do this kid, kicking the ball into the goal. So we'll start with a big circle for the head. With cartoons you can exaggerate everything. I'm going to give him some big ears. Some big eyes. And a big triangle mouth. Excited. To be kicking the ball into the goal. So his body is going to be kind of on an angle. Let's draw it in a couple of circles, make it easier. Arms coming out. This leg down, and this leg, up. So that's the basic shape. Then we're going to fill in, details in the body. So let's give him a couple of triangles, which create, a little bit of a collar around his neck. Follow the lines that you used, to make the hands and the arms and then fill in the t-shirt and erase any line that you don't need to see. Ovals, are really good for the fingers. Cartoons often, you can do four or five fingers. I like to do five. But you can do four if you want to keep it simple. Follow his arm around. Fill in his t-shirt. And take out any lines we don't need. All the same goes with the legs, I'm going to give him a couple of skinny legs, some soccer cleats, which is real easy, like little twisted triangle. Add some details for the soccer cleats. Long socks. And some rectangles for shorts. And then some cleats on the bottom of his shoe. Let's make it look like he's really off the ground, give him some shadow underneath, give him some hair. Some wavy hair because he's in movement. Some eyes looking at the ball. Just some little circles that are filled in. A little J shape on the inside of his ear, and then we need the soccer ball. So I'm actually going to make this ball a little bit more squished so it looks like it's in movement, it's being kicked. Really, simply, draw in the circle design. And then draw some lines, around it, so we can see movement. Maybe some lines underneath his leg too, so he's really kicking it. And there we go. My name is Daisy and that's how you draw a cartoon footballer.
