Hi, my name is Daisy, I'm an artist, and I'm going to show you how to draw a horseshoe crab. So we're going to start the basic shape of the front. Which is why I believe it's called the horseshoe is because it's long and round. Then the line is going to come in and flatten in the middle and give us our pointy edges. Then on the inside of these lines, you're going to draw some triangles. Another flat edge on the middle. Kind of get it in the middle of this one, and then some more triangles coming out. We can give him some backbone just by doing some curved line all the way down. Make these ones a bit bigger so they look like they get smaller as they go down the back. A little rounded top for where the tail is going to go. Give him some more detail in here. And just put some lines in. Why I kind of like the bony shape looks. Then the same on this side but the opposite. Then last but not least, they have a long, pointy tail. It's just like a very long triangle. I'm going to color that in just to make it a little more interesting. Last but not least, I'm going to put in a couple lines here to make these triangles look a little more like feet coming off. And there we go. My name is Daisy and that's how you draw a horseshoe crab.
