Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm an artist and today we're going to draw Victorian style hair. So this girl that we're going to draw Victorian style hair on, first we're going to draw her face, this nice oval and you know, of course, she's got her eyes and she's got her nose. We're not going to go into too much detail on her face but just so you get the idea that we're drawing this hair on a lady, give her some eyelashes. Okay so her forehead is kind of up in this area obviously and we're going to start on the side and give her these kind of sloping bangs that come sort of down like that and then behind these bangs, she's got this kind of like puffy kind of hair that comes all out like this. I feel like in the Victorian era they used to like their hair tall. Although the women all had long hair it seemed, they would put it, kind of pin it back and keep it up like this and they'd put ribbons in it and bows and things like that and it would kind of be piled up on top of their head like so. And then they would have like some little romantic little pieces kind of hanging down like that. Isn't that lovely? And if you were to look from the side it would be the same kind of, here's her profile, it would be the same kind of you know, puffed, she's got her side bangs there, puffed hair and then sometimes in the back they would have these long sort of braids or whatnot coming down or kind of curls. So, there is that. And that is how you draw a Victorian hairstyle.
