Hey guys, it's Chris here and today I'm going to show you how to draw a dimensional heart. So basically where you're going to start off with is the form here. So I'm going to do is draw kind of a squiggle line going that way and then one going this way. So that's basically your heart form. Now in order to make it dimensional you've got to make sure you know where the light is coming from. So if we have the light that's coming from this way, the darkest part of the shadow is going to be on the other side. So I'm going to use my pink marker here and just kind of show you where that would be. And you're going to kind of follow it, along the outside. And now as things, shadows, get closer to the light, they, they get a little bit lighter. So the darkest part is going to be going to be along the edge and as you kind of come in it's going to get a little bit lighter. This would be a really good thing to do with pencil or if you're using pen, you could do some cross-hatching. Or really just get creative with it and do your own thing. And basically you're just going to kind of along, these, the parts in the middle seem like they, kind of like come out a little bit more, so you can kind of make the shadow follow along, where that is. And just follow the outline. If you want, you can give it a little bit of a highlight. Kind of with just your white. And basically, that is how you make a dimensional heart. Good luck.
