Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm an artist and today we're going to draw a Samoan hut. So it's pretty important, every single hut is going to have a roof and the roof is sort of this thatched kind of grass tree top, all the lines that you draw are going to sort of illustrate that. We're going to illustrate this kind of thatched roof type roof. So take your marker or your pen or what have you and just go ahead and do that roof and you can go back and give it more detail but that's the basic top and then it leads into the actual hut part and our hut actually has an opening on the front and it's got a few sort of pieces of wood here that are just the opening part and then it's got a couple sort of wood logs. It almost looks like a little house really that go across. It's got like a little front, I wouldn't call it a porch but kind of a deck area where you come out and then there are some more sort of posts that hold it up and a couple little stairs, just kind of rustic, nothing too fancy that just allow you to get up into that hut. And then if you want to you can, you know maybe, this is kind of open here so you can just leave that open, put some trees in the background and what have you, maybe some palm trees, etc., some bushes and that is how you draw a Samoan hut.
