Hi, my name's Jessica, and I'm an artist. And today, we're going to draw cylinders in perspective. So, we're going to start with our top, which is an oval. From the side of the cylinder, we're going to drop a line that comes down. And, your cylinder can be as long as you like. Ours is going to be kind of short. Now, we're going to draw the front that comes around like that. What we don't see is there's that back piece, like that. And, basically, that's pretty much all there is to it. You just draw the top, bring the sides down. And then, the bottom piece echoes this top lip, just like that. So, you want those two shapes to be pretty similar. And then, there's that back piece that you don't see. And, you can do this with really any shape or size similar. So, you have a really long one, same thing, you just mimic the top. Now, if you're really looking down on the cylinder, and you have this really round piece, for example, you're going to do the same thing, but your bottom piece is going to also be very round, to mimic the top, like that. And, that's pretty much all there is to it. So, you just have a little sliver, so you can only see a little tiny piece of the top. Same thing - the bottom is just going to be a little kind of a sliver that's going to echo that top piece. And, that is how you draw a cylinder in perspective.
