Hi, my name is Daisy. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a twirling rope. So I'm going to draw a lasso. I'm going to do a long oval at the top. I'm going to do this really simply and then go into detail and just follow any sort of line around that you want to give it that twirling motion. They kind of had some handles down at the bottom so let's add that as like a little rectangle. You can even add the hand holding it, just some ovals, makes it a really simple hand. Okay so now detail on the rope itself, I'm going to draw a smaller circle on the inside and then cheat a little bit with the knot and then we can get that angle that we really want so that it looks like it's all one piece and then the knot can come around really simply over the top. And then follow this line all the way down until it hits the bottom and then just to give the rope a little bit more detail we can do a little, little half circles on the inside, just curved lines, all the way down and you can make them more curved at points like this if you want and then less curved on straighter parts. To make it look like it's in movement, I always just like doing some little lines on the outside of any part that will be shaking. You can even make the hand look like it's moving. So there we go. My name is Daisy and that's how you draw a twirling rope.
