Hi. My name's Patricia. I'm an artist. And I'm going to show you how to draw a lace dress. So, let's get the body down here. We've got the head, the shoulders, and then the arms. Now for a lace dress, you're basically going to have your simple, your dress. And you can do, you know, there's so many things. Now, you can have kind of a fringed arm. So, let me get a color that you can see better. Let's try this blue. Now, remember lace is very delicate. A lot of times you'll have a floral lace, so you know, you might have shapes like this, or the flower itself. And basically as long as you have a lot of, you know, usually black lace is easiest to see. So, if you do this in black, you'll probably get the best results. But basically you want to have a lot of open spots to portray the lace. Let's see here, and of course the dress is going down. Again, if there is lace on the edge of a dress, it's not going to be a straight line. You're going to have a lot of texture, detailing. And then again, when you have lace, it's going to be a repeat of your original. So, I'm doing this flower again. And you know, you're going to have netting in between to hold the lace together. So, notice how I'm just drawing organic lines in between and I'm crossing them to give the lace a feel. And then again, I'm going to do this lace flower. I'm repeating my design because usually when you're wearing lace, a lot of the designs are repeated. And if you are wearing a lace dress, oftentimes you'll have like a slip underneath. So, pretend there's like a black or white slip underneath this. Let's go with black, you can meet with the blue. OK. Again, the flowers and notice how I'm continuing these lines all the way down, to give the feel of lace. And there you go. There's a beautiful lace dress. Enjoy.
