Hi, I'm Al Krakosky and I'm an artist. Today, I'm going to show you how to draw a cartoon basketball. We're going to start off with our circle. I would suggest using a light pencil first. To get the shape of your circle, the way you want it and then go over that with a darker pencil, or a pen, or marker. Once we have our circle, we're going to go in and draw a curved vertical line. And a curved horizontal line. To give our 3-D look there. Then we're going to start at the top here, do a curved line down, once we hit this line, start curving up and across. Same thing down here. And once we have this, we can make it really cartoony and add some large circled eyes. We can go in here and erase these lines we're not going to need anymore. And then we'll give him some pupils. Large pupils on the inside of the eye. Then some eyebrows floating above. And we'll give him a large smile. Big teeth. And a tongue. And we'll color the inside of the mouth. And then we'll go ahead and erase these other lines that we see in the teeth here. There we go. We'll clean this up. And if you want, you can add some shading. Quick lines, getting smaller the further down you go. And then some motion lines, he's flying through the air. And that is it. That is how you draw a cartoon basketball. Thank you for watching and keep on drawing.
