Hey, what's up? Chris here and today we're going to be learning how to draw and shade still objects. So let's get to it. The first thing we're going to do is we're going to shade a box that's still so we're going to draw a line this way, a line at this angle. This line is going to come down to meet it and the same thing with this line. Then we'll draw a line coming down, a line coming down, back to meet that box end and this line coming down to meet that end. Now, we'll use another color to do some shading. So we'll start up here and we'll just do a little bit of shading there, little lines with little spaces in between, same thing with this as you come out, just little like that then you come down like that, see? Then if you want to give it like the impression of a shadow, you could just draw these lines like this but they're going this way, see what I mean? And the lines will go like that. It gives the image of shading. And you can shade this, see the large lines then as it comes to the corner, you make the lines smaller, more choppy then you can get these lines around there. And they're shaded and here's some shadowing here at the bottom over that. And there you have it. I'm Chris and this is how you draw and shade still objects.
