Hi, my name is Daisy. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw a ship captain. We're going to start with the basic body shape, a couple circles for the torso, legs, arms in position holding the ship wheel and a head. So we're going to put in the wheel now just to give us some reference so that we don't have to draw everything behind it, just a circle and then a bigger circle, a couple lines coming down to the ground filling that in and then we want to have lines coming out of it so it's kind of like spokes coming out and they can be straight lines or they can be kind of like ovals. So that's the wheel. So we're going to have our captain holding on to that because he's driving the ship. He's going to look out so we've got a couple big eyes, a nose, now no captain is complete without a big white beard. He needs his captain hat which is a rectangle on top of his head with a brim coming out. Let's fill in the arms of his coat, fill in the legs. He can have some very, very sharp pants on, a couple rectangles for the cuffs, triangles for his feet and then color in everything behind him because you don't really see too much detail behind the wheel. The wheel kind of says it all. And then a bit of white hair coming out. My name is Daisy and that's how you draw a ship captain.
