Hi, my name is Daisy. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw creases. So I'm going to demonstrate this on a pair of pants. So let's just draw the pants really quickly. I'm making them extra slouchy just for a reason which you'll see because we're supposed to be drawing creases. Okay so we've got our pants, draw a couple cuffs. Now to draw the creases it's a really good exercise in shading. So I'm just going to draw some lines that taper off all throughout wherever you feel like there will be a bunch of fabric and they're kind of like creases that you see when you're wearing clothes. So we're just going to draw lots of lines and then shade where you think you'll see some shadow. So I'm doing all of my shadow this way down rather than doing some down here, some up here so you want it all to be in one sort of light source. They can be as creased or as little creased as you want. I'm going to make a lot of creases and for the ones that come from the outside that you can see an outline on, you can even just make the outline a little bit bigger to emphasize the crease, same on the inside and you can do little curly ones and shade the whole thing in and that's a lot of creases. I like using really light markings as well, as dark ones, it gives it a more 3D look. And there we go. My name is Daisy and that's how you draw creases.
