Hi, my name is Daisy. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw figures running. So we're going to start with a basic shape by putting a long gestural line down first, long curve because the runner is going to be leaning forward. We'll put in a circle for the head, a circle for the bottom of the torso so we can make him into kind of like a teardrop shape. Then we need to figure out the placement of the legs. Now to really show the running of the character, both legs in he air is the best way. We can show that by putting some shading underneath the character on the floor. Now the arms are going to be the opposite way of the legs. So if this leg is going to be behind, this arm is going to be in front and the same with this arm. So that's the basic shape but we want to give it a little bit more body so, we need to figure out where the legs go. I'm just going to draw in some shorts on this character, just a couple rectangles help that, fill those shorts in, a round line on the back of the leg helps with making it look like a calf muscle and then a couple triangles for the feet, same with this front leg. And for the arms I'm going to put in a T shirt, just a couple lines and I'm just going to do a really simple fist. I'm going to bring this head down just a little bit, a triangle for the nose, dot for the eye and that C shape for the ear, whatever hairdo you like. My name is Daisy and that' show you draw figures running.
