Hi, my name is Erik. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw caricature dreadlocks. Okay let's first start with a quick caricature which is you know, just a person with a giant head, give him a nose and then a little tiny body. And they always are smiling. Okay, now let's give them dreadlocks which to actually draw the dreadlocks they're going to look like kind of fat noodly squiggles. So, just draw those in. Then we're going to add a texture to this in just a moment, to those noodles. Okay and then the dreadlocks they kind of have a back and forth, it's going to be kind of a crosshatching to add texture like that and you can round it out just to show that they are not tubular, filling them all out and there's quite a bit of them because they are dreadlocks and that is how you draw caricature dreadlocks.
