Hi, my name is Eric. I'm an artist and I'm going to show you how to draw glare on glass. First let's draw a glass object. I'm going to draw a vase. So let's start with the vase, start with just an oval up here on the top, kind of keeping it loose, bring it down into a shape down here. It's a rounded object and let's give it a sturdy base to be on. Now a vase is a rounded object so the light source is going to come down on it and it's going to diffuse around it, also in a round manner. So, let's go with some white here to give it, let's give it some glare up here, fill that in. Now the glare is going to be lighter than the rest of the object because the glare is from light. Let's go down here, let's bring it right over to this side and let's not forget the top and the bottom because there's going to be just a touch down on the lip here and then there's going to be a bit up here. And that is how you draw glare on glass.
