Hi, I'm Jessica and I'm an artist. And today we are going to draw a rose petal. So when you are drawing a rose petal you can just draw a sort of a rounded shape like so. And then the shading is what's really going to make it look like a rose petal. So we are going to take some pink and put a little bit of shading on one side of the petal here. And we're going to take a little white and kind of put it in the middle. So it's got a little bit of kind of depth to it like so. Maybe a little more pink over here. So it's got this kind of round shape to it. And then when you do a few of them side by side say you were drawing like a I don't know, like a romantic scene with rose petals on the floor. It might look something like this. And if you were to draw it on the actual flower itself you know the rose is completely made of these various petals. So the petals kind of come up like this and then they go all the way around the rose. And they keep going until you've got a rose all the way. So basically this one piece is this flattened out and it curves around the rose and then it's got these little kind of green pieces that go around the petals like so. And of course the thorns. And that is how you draw a rose petal.
